Bruce Dow (born April 1, 1963 in Seattle, WA) is a professional actor and singer working on stage and in film/TV in Canada and the United States.
Right now, he is playing ' 'Herod' ' in the Des McAnuff, Stratford Shakespeare Festival production of Jesus Christ Superstar; having just completed a Toronto run as ' 'Pseudolus' ' in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum for Mirvish Productions and Stratford. Bruce made his Broadway debut in Jane Eyre, and has appeared on Broadway in The Music Man, and Anything Goes. He has been a regular performer at the Stratford Festival of Canada, North America's largest classical repertory theatre, in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. He as directed many plays and musicals; has composed and written lyrics for a number of musicals; and has taught at colleges and universities across Canada and the U.S.. In 2005, he recorded his debut CD "Lucky to Be Me". In 2008, he released a second CD "Keepin' Out Of Mischief".
